I CANNOT STOP BURPING! Two days ago at 9 weeks and 6 days I started burping constantly, not finding any relief. The first few weeks I loved the burping, as it was my sign that my babies are still there. Now this has turned into an inconvenience. Last night watching Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction (I am obsessed with this show, I watched it growing up) with my husband I took a deep breath and screamed because I had a sudden sharp stabbing pain in my lower left rib-cage. I gathered quickly that the cause was just gas pains and took shallower breaths and waited for my gas to start breaking up so that I could burp. I have an appointment in 2 days and I will ask the Doctor if she has any suggestions to help make this more comfortable. If any of you have any experience with painful gas during pregnancy please share your story and any remedies you have found!

The Doctor wrote back on the vaginal discharge photo that I had sent her asking if that appeared normal, even though it is a bit darker than my normal had been and she said that both appear extremely normal to her. She had just suggested watching for signs of infection or if I have any bright red in my discharge. So I do feel much more at peace after hearing this from her. I guessed everything was fine but I am so blessed to have Doctors who are so easy to get in contact with during this time.

Yesterday I was out walking around the neighborhood (I go for a 30 minute walk everyday for exercise during this time because I do not want to do the high intensity work outs I was doing prior to pregnancy) and my neighbor came out to meet me for the first time. She is a LOVELY lady, who I learned has retired from the high risk pregnancy clinic that I am a patient at, as a delivery nurse. She gave me her number and offered her help if we need anything. I feel so incredibly blessed to have such a kind and knowledgeable neighbor right next door, hopefully I do not need anything and have a very healthy pregnancy but just to know someone who cares is so close feels like an answered prayer.

I am on Humira/Adalimumab and I have been for 8 years now, I have achieved remission from Crohn's Disease and I credit 90% of this remission to Humira. It has been a miracle drug for me. Humira's producers AbbVie call monthly to check on the state of my health. This struck me as weird since I have had the most steady health for the last 6 years now and have never had an issue with Humira. Lately it has struck me as maybe they are checking because I am a long time user and when I first was prescribed Humira my Doctor had told me that I had a 10 year max of being on the medication because they did not yet know if long term use of this biologic was safe. So now I am probably one of their guinea pigs, but also they have approved long term use and I trust this medication. I have never suffered any side effects and have my life back. Anyways, I started this explanation to tell you that yesterday AbbVie called because the nurse who checks on me monthly has reported my pregnancy to them. So now they have opened a case on this pregnancy and have said that they will call every two weeks to every month to keep track of how the pregnancy is progressing and to check that we are still healthy. They are recording this as maternal exposure to Humira and checking how that affects pregnancies. I feel kind of weird about that but also I have never thought twice about Humira in the last 8 years, and I have a friend who took Humira up until weeks before she gave birth and her twins are perfect! Is this anything anyone has had experience with as well? If so please share!

I also got my maternity bra this week! I LOVE IT! It is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn I ordered it off of PinkBlush Maternity. I am impressed by this website and will be ordering future maternity clothes from them. It is a nursing bra as I hope to nurse once my babies are here. I ordered a large and I was measuring 37 inches under my boobs and 41.5 at nipple height. I was previously wearing a 36C and I think I made the best choice by ordering a large. Below is a picture of the bra and 10 weeks progress with the twins. I am feeling big now, I showered last night and my body is distinctly different than it was just 5 weeks ago.
