My girl is already 3.5 months old, and oh boy is she so fun! She plays and talks and has very obvious emotions.
She is giving lots of signs that she is starting to teeth.
Drooling like crazy and chewing on her hands, towels, mom's fingers, dad's fingers, anything she can get ahold of. And when she naps she wakes up to scream and then fall back to sleep.
We have bed-shared exclusively since she was 5 weeks old.
I moved into her nursery and sleep in my old bed with her.
During the day we contact nap, there are no times of the day where I am not touching, talking to, or at least watching my daughter. Which is why I have not been writing blog posts.
Currently, she is asleep on a pillow in my lap.
I am waiting for a response and then I am going to nap with her. We still do not get much sleep. We still wake up every 2-3 hours to eat. Last night we did not go to bed until midnight.
I need to start napping when she does because I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight, rather than 15 pounds below
Hey ya'll, I haven't wrote in 7 months! My baby girl is now 10.5 months old.
I chose to follow all of the principles of attachment parenting which allows for no "me time" I don't have any complaints about that. But you, as my readers might. I have loved every moment of motherhood.
Right now we are watching Little Baby Bum and I have decided to try to write daily again. Sometimes T enjoys just being next to me, for very short periods of time.
I am so thankful for my blogs during pregnancy, I have not looked back at them, but I just started writing daily in a journal to T. It has almost been a year since I even did that.
T is all about the scoots right now. She also loves to wave and say "HHHHHIIIIIIIIIIII"
We eat just about anything. This morning we shared some Greek yogurt with protein powder, peanut butter and oats in it. For lunch she ate a slice of pizza and a banana, mama also encourages some awful eating habits by sharing Hersheys candy bars with T.
T has 6 teeth and chews fantastically. She just stuffs as much in her mouth as she can. She thankfully, has never choked (knock on wood).
Because oh boy is she a determined girl. I don't want to break that beautiful spirit either. I remember hearing about that in a self discovery class taught in my high school and it is one of the things I have held the most dear.
Baby T is a chatty-Cathy.
She says at least 10 different words and has since 9 months. She is most advanced in her speech. Maybe because I am always talking to her, maybe because I have never met a person who talks more than her Dad.
Not too interested in trying to walk or stand much yet, but she is a little observer. She loves to watch what is going on around us, today it was a trip to the library where she encountered her first toddler.
Now as Baby is T is rounding from Baby T to Toddler T I have been looking into how I want to parent a toddler and am very interested in Montessori home.
It is Friday and I am trying to make plans for the weekend to do things with T.
Hehe - Hello again, I am picking back up today, June 7th. Baby T is almost 1 year old!!
We have joined our local library reading program and have created the goal of reading 1,000 books before Baby T begins formal schooling. This should be no problem since we read between 1-7 books per day.
Baby T learned to say "no" today.
Currently, she is playing next to me and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, she can crawl but only crawls to and up mom and dad. She gets around well and talks a lot.
Now I will attempt to write more regularly.
Boy, my brain does work differently since becoming a mother. I read a lot about that in the last year, but I swear I have no memory.
