Tips for Nausea

Updated: May 20, 2020

8 Weeks with tiny twin-kles and I am feeling the nausea. My best friend knew what I was in for and sent us some gifts preemptively. They have been lifesavers as I have yet to be any worse than uncomfortable.

Sea Bands: Like sweatbands with a little acupressure bead that applies pressure to the Nei-Kuan acupressure point and helps relieve nausea. I have not taken these off since getting them over a week ago besides for showers. Make sure you wear both bands, I started with just one and felt no different before reading the instructions to wear both and I think that it has helped so much. I highly recommend these bands for anyone who suffers nausea, not just in pregnancy.

Preggie Pop Drops Plus: Dried Cane Syrup, Corn Syrup, Citric Acid, Natural Flavors (made with essential oils) sour raspberry and sour lemon candies. Sucking on these little candies when I am nauseous has helped so much. I will be keeping these candies on hand going forward, I only use a few per day. I also highly recommend these!

Taylors of Harrogate Lemon & Ginger Zesty & Warming Caffeine-Free Infusion: Ginger, apple, sweet blackberry leaves caffeine-free tea. I LOVE THIS TEA, it is strong though so I recommend seeping for five minutes or less. I am a big tea drinker but quit as soon as I found out I was pregnant. I was so happy to receive this tea and only drink about a cup a day after dinner and I find that it calms my tummy so much. If you enjoy tea try this one! I will be buying more as soon as I get low.
